As a long-established developer of Media Asset Management
solutions, Gorilla's content repurposing and monetization platform provides the
underlying infrastructure to TVB's new online video store-GoTV. The
project is the first media content cloud in Asia, comparable to an Apple iTunes
for Chinese-language TV and movie content. (See the video below for why
TVB chose Gorilla as a technology partner.)
During the NAB2014 show in Las Vegas, this project caught the attention of both
customers and partners, as well as keen interest from the media, including
well-known broadcast magazine, InBroadcast, the influential UK publisher.
The main focus of their May issue is a sneak preview of the up-coming
broadcast show in Singapore, BroadcastAsia (17-20 June), which includes an
in-depth story on Gorilla. Gorilla’s APAC Senior Sales Director, Mike Wang will
visit BroadcastAsia to meet with customers and partners.

InBroadcast May Issue
“The way the metadata is distributed in the organization and the level of
completeness of very specific metadata was probably quite different from any
other organization,…It became apparent to us that Gorilla -- with the media
asset management system and new media solutions -- was the best partner for us,
and we are completely satisfied with their ability to customize their already
proven solutions…to our particular needs,” ---SK Cheong, General Manager,
Television Broadcasts Limited.
