Taipei, Taiwan, February 05, 2010 – Today Gorilla Technology Group, in Conjunction with HCCPB is proud to announce the completion of Hsinchu Government CCTV Integration. In Summary, the Hsinchu Government CCTV Project will:
- Deployment of Safety Posts in Crime Hot Spots similar to those deployed in London & Tokyo, these Safety Posts integrates Video Surveillance with Enhanced 110 capabilities in Crime Hot Spots; making these areas safer and deter crime. These Safety Posts will greatly enhance safety for the citizens of Hsinchu.
- Deploy and Integrate the CCTV matrix within the entire Hsinchu City Area into a single with an user friendly GIS Interface that offers real-time video surveillance access and Operation Dispatching with GPS positioning of all police resources.
- Deployment of purpose-built video surveillance cameras, including the following: license plate recognition, neighbourhood watch, Vantage Point watch and panoramic view, traffic.
- Deployment of purpose-built video surveillance cameras, including the following: license plate recognition, neighbourhood watch, Vantage Point watch and panoramic view, traffic.
- Deploy more than 100,000 meters of optic fibers, which improves video surveillance network traffic bandwidth and saves greatly in broadband costs annually.
The Completion of this project with Gorilla products will improve the safety and security service of the City of Hsinchu.

About HCCPB
The Hsinchu City Police Bureau (HCCPB) located at No.1 Chung-shan Rd. Hsinchu City was established in 1920. The city system was applied on Jan. 20, 1930 with the establishment of Hsinchu City Police Bureau in charge of the policing. In 1946, it became a provincially governed city with seven district offices. The Hsinchu City Police Bureau was equipped with two precincts and one station. In 1950, the administrative districts in Taiwan were re-adjusted. The Hsinchu City Police Bureau was equipped with Hsinchu, Chu-dong and Hsinpu Precincts.
In 1958, the HCCPB was equipped two more precincts—Chupei and Hengshan precincts.
The Provincial government City Hsinchu Government was legally established on July 1, 1982. HCCPB was officially separated from the Hsinchu County Police Bureau on Jan. 1, 1990. To ensure the full-scale development program of the City, as well as the creation of a healthy investment environment for technology companies, HCCPB had an employment quota of 1111 personnel to maintain public order and control traffic
